TCG Interview #94: Battle Guards

  I spoke with the creator of Battle Guards! Here are their answers to my questions: Q: Please describe your trading card game! A: Battle Guards is a trading card game, you put together a team of Force cards to battle your opponent's Force cards.   the end game is to capture all 3 the flags, first player to capture all flags  wins the game!    Q: What inspired you to create your own TCG? A: My son inspired me, he and I share a common interest in drawing and love the idea to create. We play a lot of cards games not just only trading card games but  he always has great ideas when playing them, so I decided to bring his ideas to life and create his own game. Q: What TCGs did you grow up playing as a kid? A: The only TCG I knew how to play was yugioh! that game was my favorite, Q: What sets Battle Guards apart from other TCGs? A: That this game is more then just a game its bonding that a father and son created over the joy of spending time and playing card games. A balanced game design

TCG Interview #93: Odd Frontier

  I spoke with the creator of Odd Frontier. Here are their answers to my questions!  Q: Please describe your trading card game! A: Odd Frontier is a trading card game that features creatures inspired by Japanese yokai, modern zoology, and various other mythologies. Q: What inspired you to create your own TCG? A: I was obsessed with Pokemon as a kid. When I was in first grade I printed out custom cards I made in Microsoft paint and sold them to people that would bully me on the play ground  Q: What TCGs did you grow up playing as a kid? A: I played magic the gathering, never figured out how to play Pokemon. Q: What sets Odd Frontier apart from other TCGs? A: Odd Frontier is a faster and more intense card game than other tcgs with a playtime of 5-10 minutes. Unlike most TCG resource systems like MTGs magic system, there is nothing that restricts what cards can be playable in your deck.  Q: How did you come up with the name Odd Frontier? TCG Interview #92: Master of Mages

I spoke with the creator of Master of Mages. Here are his answers  to my  questions!  Q: Please describe your trading card game! A:  Master of Mages is a game based off of high school students and mages in an institution called the Spellcasters Academy. The students are battling an internal and external threat causing them use powerful magic against their adversaries.  Q: What inspired you to create your own TCG? A: About a year ago I was thinking of a game that teens and adults can play that has some real-life concepts. I woke up one morning and starting brainstorming ideas until I came up with the game's mechanics. And soon created a checklist with over 300 cards.   Q: What TCGs did you grow up playing as a kid? A: I grew up collecting the Pokemon TCG. I have some family members that got off into Yugioh but it was nowhere close in comparison.  Q: What sets Master of Mages apart from other TCGs?
